Lisa Jarvis is a CPA, CGA who specializes in Canadian small business, having spent her 15+ year career in accounting supporting entrepreneurs at various stages of business.
Her career passion is supporting entrepreneurs to achieve excellence by taking the stress out of their tax compliance, and by assisting them to own and understand their numbers. She has experience with all types of business entities and specialized training in business valuations, partnerships and trusts, but her priority remains the owner-managed entity. While experienced in all facets of public practice accounting, including five years as partner in her prior firm, Lisa’s new firm is focused on supporting business owners with their strategy and financial systems. She feels strongly about changing the tone in her industry and being a true ally to her clients.
Lisa is also wife to an incredible man, and mother to three beautiful children. Personally she believes in the values of integrity, compassion and generosity, and is aspiring to be an example to her children of how to live a life that honours what matters most and use one’s unique skills and abilities to improve the lives of others.
When not working, she enjoys moving her body outside, writing middle grade fiction, and making disastrous messes in the kitchen.
